Windows of mercy surround us, explore them with your child to build faith and fulfill the need for love and tenderness.
Nothing around us is ordinary; everything around us is a sign that astonishes the small child and brings the grown adult to humble reverence. From a cat living in the streets according to the laws of the wild, then transforming into a sign of mercy and tenderness that does not cease in love, giving, and devotion the moment she gives birth to her little ones; to the coming of night and the stillness of creatures; to the drops of water descending from the sky, and how creatures are guided by Allah’s mercy to where this water exists even if it lies beneath a solid rock; to the sprouting of plants, and the joy of creatures sitting at the banquet of the earth, celebrating Allah’s generosity and mercies with unceasing glorification, while gratitude to Allah pulses throughout the universe.

Building your child’s relationship with Allah on the foundation of love and appreciation is essential for balance, happiness, and elevated Character. Love flows only upon the threads of mercy, and mercy is woven into the fabric of the universe. We will explore it with our friend Maryam and move with her from window to window, feeling joy, safety, and gratitude for Allah’s mercies that encompass the universe and all creatures, and surround us in every moment so that love and gratitude to Allah, Ar-Raḥīm increases within us.
